Domestic Violence in Rentals is a vital course designed for Oregon landlords and property managers who need to respond lawfully, confidently, and compassionately when domestic violence affects a tenancy.
This practical and informative class covers key Oregon laws and ORS definitions, tenant protections, landlord responsibilities, lock change requirements, lease termination options for victims, procedures involving perpetrators, and documentation standards. Participants will gain a clearer understanding of how to navigate difficult situations such as restraining orders, emergency safety concerns, and property damage while staying compliant and reducing legal risk.
Whether you are facing these situations for the first time or want to strengthen your knowledge, this course will provide the tools and guidance needed to make informed decisions, support tenant safety, and avoid costly mistakes.
