**To receive CE credits you MUST attend the live webinar AND sign-in at the beginning of the webinar AND at the end in the side bar as well as provide your RE License #.

Christian Bryant, who is the leading expert for Property Management in Oregon. He has owned and operated a management company in Oregon since 2007 and he holds positions like President of the Portland Area Rental Owners Association & President of RPMEducation.org which is the only landlord education provider organization to receive an education grant from the city of Portland's Housing Bureau & Rental Services Office.

Course Description:

Protect yourself, your tenants, and your property with the knowledge to handle one of the most sensitive issues in rental housing. Domestic Violence in Rentals is a vital course designed for Oregon landlords and property managers who need to respond lawfully, confidently, and compassionately when domestic violence affects a tenancy.

This practical and informative class covers key Oregon laws and ORS definitions, tenant protections, landlord responsibilities, lock change requirements, lease termination options for victims, procedures involving perpetrators, and documentation standards. Participants will gain a clearer understanding of how to navigate difficult situations such as restraining orders, emergency safety concerns, and property damage while staying compliant and reducing legal risk.

Whether you are facing these situations for the first time or want to strengthen your knowledge, this course will provide the tools and guidance needed to make informed decisions, support tenant safety, and avoid costly mistakes.
